May-Guess

So I finally decided on a theme and am going with a gamer themed wedding. The date is set for August and I'm still planning. As I was looking up ideas I kind of got annoyed with everyone sticking to classy expensive themes. Kind of gets boring. Then I got inspired by gamer themed items. So decided on it. I'll try to class up the decor so it won't end up looking like a 12 year old's birthday. The cake will have a bride and groom gaming  or something similar. Lots more to plan.

So out of the blue my boyfriend of just over two years proposed. I wasn't expecting anything after a long day of classes. So next steps.... Too much to think about.  XD I don't want a big wedding or to waste money on a reception. They is a lot of westernization that ruins what is only supposed to be the union of two people who love each other. Things I hate about western weddings: -bachelor/bachelorette parties -I find them very vulgar and distasteful -obligatory invites of people you don't necessarily like -there are a few people I won't want at a wedding -Expenses - too many; for the hall, for the food, wedding dress, suits -The wed

So I finished another set of the colouring calendar and discovered I have a set of triples to complete for the remaining days of this year. Feel cheated by the calendar people. They could have made 365 unique things to colour but opted for much less. Guess it's cost effective. So I can make tryptechs starting this weekend. Awhile ago I tried watching Mad Men but was turned off by the sexism and misogyny. Now I got curious and got back into watching it. I see they were just trying to capture the times. I look at it more ofr social interactions and the marketing ideas. I haven't seen a show quite like it.
